A person seriously injured in a knife attack in Boston drove himself to the hospital

According to police, a person who was seriously injured in a stabbing in Roxbury on Monday night drove himself to a Boston hospital, where he crashed his car.

Officers went to 811 Harrison Ave., near Boston Medical Center in the South End, around 10:30 Monday night. A person stabbed in Roxbury drove himself to the hospital and crashed his car, according to Sgt. Detective John Boyle, a department spokesman.

The stabbing happened at Lambert Avenue and Kenilworth Street in Roxbury, he said.
