Driver seriously injured in accident

RIPLEY COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) – A Naylor, Missouri woman was seriously injured in a car accident on Monday, September 30th.

The accident occurred around 12 p.m. on Highway 142, about a half-mile north of Naylor in Ripley County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 79-year-old Norma J. Horrocks was traveling westbound when she failed to make a turn in the road.

MSHP said her SUV left the road and rolled over.

Horrocks was flown to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee with serious injuries.

MSHP said Horrocks was wearing a seatbelt and her vehicle was totaled in the crash.
