1 dead, 2 injured in crash south of Haysville

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – Update: One person has died as a result of injuries sustained in a crash reported Monday evening at East 95th Street South and South Broadway.

Two other people were injured in the accident, one of them critically. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said a silver Kia was traveling south on Broadway before crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with a brown Chevy Silverado.

A sheriff’s office sergeant identified the person killed in the crash as the driver of the Kia.

Three people were injured, one critically, in a crash just before 8 p.m. at East 95th Street South and South Broadway. This is in Sedgwick County, south of Haysville.

The Sedgwick County dispatch confirmed that one person was unresponsive at the scene. 12 News sent a team to gather more information.
