Karkh Criminal Court issues death sentence to terrorist » Iraqi News Agency

The Karkh Criminal Court on Tuesday handed down a death sentence to a terrorist offender for his membership in terrorist groups.

The Judicial Council Media Center said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the terrorist, in collaboration with other defendants, killed a citizen with a sticky bomb in 2012 to achieve terrorist goals.”

It added that “the judgment was issued based on the provisions of Article 4/1 and in accordance with Articles 2/1, 3 and 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005.”
