Jon Stewart helps voters choose between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump

By a miracle, There are still many undecided voters in America. Luckily, Jon Stewart had some thoughts for those unsure whether to vote for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump for president in November.

To The Daily ShowStewart confirmed that the undecided included essentially himself and “six people who got kicked in the head by very strong horses.” “I’m leaning toward Kamala Harris because of her impressive resume and her ability to go from Indian to Black in that way,” Stewart told the audience, adding he was concerned about both candidates’ ability to have a concrete plan for the country .

As for Trump, he has offered even fewer details than Harris, as Stewart demonstrated in a series of clips. “So obviously what people like about Donald Trump is not his clear, specific policies like they want from Kamala Harris,” Stewart noted. He then played clips of Trump supporters explaining why they plan to vote for him and quipped, “Donald Trump is behind the people who have to work overtime to pay their bills.”

“I have to say, every time Trump talks about workers, it’s like watching A Christmas story vice versa,” Stewart replied. “‘I just fired these three ghosts who were trying to work overtime.’ So the thing about supporting workers is nonsense.”

Stewart also recalled a recent article by Rolling Stone about the election, which mentioned Trump’s desire to “punish” late-night comedians for their anti-Trump material. “Isn’t being on regular cable TV at 11 p.m. punishment enough?” Stewart replied. “So we know that the political free speech thing and the working class hero thing is all nonsense.”

Ultimately, Stewart concluded that the qualities people supposedly love about former President Trump “do not appear to accurately reflect the former president’s character.” He added: “It is as if they have created a fictional character, a bizarre Trump, whose achievements and character bear little resemblance to the self-aggrandizing, eternal victim that he repeatedly says he is.”

“This fictional Trump, portrayed as much better than he actually is, is running for president of a country he portrays as much worse than it actually is,” Stewart concluded. “But I have to tell you, whatever country this is where families are routinely murdered multiple times while making breakfast could really use Donald Trump. The rest of us? Not so much.”

On trend

Elsewhere on the show, Stewart sat down with author Ta-Nehisi Coates to talk about his book. The messagewhich is about oppression.
