Pisgah man arrested for child abuse, grabbed child by throat

PISGAH, Ala. (WHNT) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on child abuse charges after he reportedly grabbed a child by the throat.

Court documents show Quinton Wicks, 44, of Pisgah, was arrested Sept. 26 by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Documents show he was charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child under 18 by grabbing the child by the throat.

He was released from the Jackson County Jail on $16,000 bail.
