Celtic understand the challenges ahead, Dortmund don’t scare Hoops

We are not stupid. We know that Bratislava had a comparatively easy start and that there are more difficult games ahead, but we can go into them with confidence…

On Tuesday of a week we face our toughest test of the season when we travel to Germany to play Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

The German giants reached the final of the competition last season and although they lost 5-1 to Stuttgart yesterday, they will still be a formidable side.

We are not at all deceived, as fans of a particular club often are. We know that we face a difficult task in Europe, especially in the away games. We were lucky to get a decent start and a good result against Slovan Bratislava, but from next week at the Westfalenstadion it will be even more difficult.

Our excellent start to the season means we can go into these games with confidence and confidence. We are much more prepared and organized than we were at this point last season and although anything we get on our trips will be a bonus.

We all want the team to do well and they could certainly achieve that, but deep down we know it will be a difficult task.
