The Eagle’s Nest Art Group exhibition will be held October 5th in Oregon – Shaw Local

OREGON – The Eagle’s Nest Art Group will host its annual fall art exhibition at its studio in Conover Square during Oregon’s Autumn on Parade festival on Saturday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year’s exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the artist Jan Harvey, who died on May 22nd. She was an active member of the Eagle’s Nest Art Group and a wonderful painter and supporter of the arts.

A display of her artwork and one of the flags she designed for the city of Oregon will be part of the exhibit. A special memorial book has been created in her honor, with pages where friends and visitors can write their thoughts or memories of January.

The exhibition of more than 50 works of art includes paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor as well as calligraphy, oil pastels and ink works.

Works made of glass, wood and ceramics can also be seen. Art prints and note cards are also available for sale.

Entry is free. “Everyone is welcome,” said club member Marsha Behrens. “Artists will welcome you to this annual community event celebrating local art along the Rock River.”

Conover Square ENAG Studio is located on the second floor at 201 N. 3rd Street, Oregon.
