Two dead in Temple traffic accident

TEMPLE, Texas (FOX 44) – Two people were killed in a traffic accident Monday afternoon in Temple.

Temple police officers were dispatched to the 21000 block of SE HK Dodgen Loop in response to a head-on collision at approximately 4:14 p.m. When they arrived, they found two vehicles colliding.

According to police, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another person was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead upon arrival by Justice of the Peace Larry Wilkey.

The Temple Police Department Traffic Unit is on scene investigating this accident and the area
will remain closed for the next few hours.
