Lil Reese arrested for allegedly assaulting ex-girlfriend, bond denied

According to TMZ, Lil Reese was arrested in Houston after a warrant was issued for his arrest for allegedly assaulting his former girlfriend. 31-year-old Chicago-born drill rapper Tavares Lamont Taylor was charged this morning with aggravated assault on a family or household member and was denied bail.

TMZ reported on September 17 that Taylor allegedly punched his former girlfriend in the face and strangled her after she rejected his advances at a Houston nightclub called The Pink House. The woman told police she was “gasping for air” and fearing for her life. Her friend witnessed the incident and called security to intervene. The scratches and redness on her neck led police to obtain an arrest warrant for Taylor.

Authorities found Taylor at The Address nightclub in Houston and handcuffed him. His attorney Carl Moore told TMZ, “Mr. Taylor vehemently denies these false accusations. We look forward to his day in court.”
