Suburban teen identified as victim of shooting near ISU campus – NBC Chicago

A suburban 18-year-old has been identified as the person killed in a shooting during a “pop-up party” near the Illinois State University campus over the weekend.

According to the McLean County Coroner’s Office, the victim has been identified as Randall Glass of Oak Lawn.

Glass was one of two people shot as police worked to break up a party near the ISU campus in the Bloomington-Normal area Sunday morning. Authorities were on scene when shots were fired in the 300 block of North University.

When officers located the shooting victims, they found Glass and another 18-year-old man, both of whom had been shot multiple times.

Glass was pronounced dead at a local hospital and the other victim remains in critical condition.

According to ISU police, none of the victims in the case were associated with Illinois State University.
