Driver arrested for DUI following multi-vehicle accident in Dickinson County

NORWAY TOWNSHIP, MI – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Norway Township on Friday.

At approximately 4:45 p.m., the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls regarding a multi-vehicle collision on US-2 near the Vulcan BP gas station.

The occupants of the injured vehicles were treated at the scene or transported to Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson.

One of the drivers involved in the crash was arrested for driving under the influence and is awaiting arraignment.

The accident remains under investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Norway Police, Integrity Care EMS, North Alert EMS, Norway Fire Department, Joe’s Wrecker Service and Norway Auto Body Wrecker.
