A North Alabama man was chained up and a child was locked in her bedroom, authorities said

A Pisgah man has been arrested on child molestation charges.

Quinton Wicks, 44, was arrested Sept. 24 by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

He was charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child under 18.

According to court documents, Wicks grabbed the child by the neck, tied her up and locked her in a bedroom.

He was released from the Jackson County Jail on $16,000 bail.

Under his bail restrictions, Wicks cannot knowingly approach or make contact within 1,000 feet of the victim.
