Man sexually assaulted as a teenager in Lodi: Bergen County prosecutor

LODI, NJ – A 33-year-old Lodi man was arrested last week for past sex crimes against a teenager in that city, prosecutors said.

Junior Reyes-Tejada, of Lodi, was charged last Wednesday with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by physical contact and endangering the welfare of a child, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The prosecutor’s office said that on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Lodi police contacted the Bergen District Attorney’s Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged past sexual assault.

An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Lodi Police found the man sexually abused a child under 13 in Lodi.

He was arrested in Paramus and taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he awaited his initial appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
