Judge convicts former Cincinnati Public Schools employee in connection with sex crimes against children

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — A Hamilton County judge sentenced a former Cincinnati Public Schools employee who pleaded guilty to assault in connection with an incident in November.

Judge Jennifer Branch sentenced 29-year-old Trevon Hudson to six months in the River City Correctional Center. He must also serve a three-year suspended sentence. Judge Branch said he would have to register as a sex offender for 15 years.

The Judge Branch bailiff says Hudson pleaded guilty in August to knowingly soliciting a victim 12 years of age or younger to engage in sexual activity, a third-degree felony.

According to the police report, the crime occurred Nov. 20 at 5030 Duck Creek Road, the address of Shroder High School.

The mother of a Shroder High School student accused an employee of sexually harassing her daughter while speaking to FOX19 in November.

She said she took her daughter out of school. The alleged victim’s mother accused the employee of asking her daughter to have sex and sending her inappropriate text messages.

Hudson was hired in August 2022, suspended in late November 2023, and fired in December 2023.
