Ronny Chieng cancels October 5th show at Bakersfield Fox Theater

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Ronny Chieng’s October 5 show at the Bakersfield Fox Theater has been canceled.

The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater released a statement from the artist saying:

“To everyone who came to my show in Bakersfield, California on October 5, 2024:

Due to sudden work commitments, I regret to announce that I must cancel my stand-up show scheduled for October 5, 2024 in Bakersfield, California.

All ticket holders who purchased tickets directly from the official ticket website will receive a full refund.

I don’t make it easy for myself to cancel a show and I sincerely apologize to all of you for the inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your understanding and support!”

Refunds will be made to the card used during the purchase and will take approximately 30 days to appear on the buyer’s statement.

The theater said if you purchased tickets with cash, you will be asked to come into the office with your tickets and ID to issue your refund.

Their office is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m
