St. Cloud police are investigating social media threats against Apollo High School on Monday

(KNSI) – St. Cloud police are investigating after threats were made against Apollo High School on social media.

According to a news release, just after 10 a.m. Monday morning, police became aware of a post sent to a Snapchat group that suggested an unspecified threat. According to police, the screenshot caused alarm among some students and parents. Investigators and the district worked together and concluded there was no serious threat to the school.

The police are investigating the origin of the message and are providing additional security.
