Caribou man dies after motorcycle accident in Fort Fairfield

FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine (WABI) – A caribou man has died after a motorcycle accident in Fort Fairfield.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday on Presque Isle Road.

According to Fort Fairfield police, the driver, Tony Disy, 69, veered off the road and stopped on the side of the road.

Authorities believe Disy suffered a medical episode before the crash.

We’re told Disy died after being taken to a hospital.

Officials say he was not wearing a helmet.
