An accident is causing major traffic delays on I-79 in Marion County Monday morning

FAIRMONT, W.Va (WDTV) – A crash on I-79 in Marion County is causing a significant traffic delay Monday morning, according to WV511.

According to Marion County Emergency Management officials, around 10:15 a.m., a vehicle with a trailer attached crashed near the 129 mile marker in the northbound lane.

According to officials, one lane was opened to traffic as of 11:45 a.m.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
