Travis Kelce’s teammates are wearing t-shirts with his face amid recent drama

As for sports today, the Kansas City Chiefs played the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night and a number of Travis Kelce’s teammates wore t-shirts with his face on them.

Before you jump to the conclusion that the team’s Travis cuts are somehow related to Taylor Swift missing his last two games: no. At least almost definitely not. Instead, they appear to be a direct response to claims that Travis hasn’t played at his best in the Chiefs’ last few games – particularly last weekend’s 9/22 game against the Falcons, where he was seen sadly on the sidelines:

Travis’ teammates have defended him, while critics have said that “the off-season partying” and “jet-setting with probably the most famous person in the world” somehow affected his game. (Psst: These quotes are from ESPN analyst Todd McShay The Ryen Russillo PodcasT).

In Travis’ defense, Chiefs pass rusher George Karlaftis said TMZ that he “didn’t miss a beat” and “works hard every day, no matter what,” adding that Trav is “the best tight end there has ever been, you could argue. I definitely think so.”

Meanwhile, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also defended Travis, saying, “The respect factor.” [teams] “Having for Travis is unreal…we call a lot of plays for Travis and it’s like two or three people go to him.”
