One dead after shooting before crash in Springfield Township

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A man is dead in a parking lot in Springfield Township Sunday evening, according to police.

Cincinnati police at the scene said shots were fired in a parking lot near 6531 Winton Road on Sunday evening. After the shots were fired, police said a vehicle sped away and then crashed into a pickup truck parked near the intersection of North Bend Road and Winton Road.

When police arrived, the vehicle had come to a stop in front of a nearby cosmetics store; The officers found a dead man inside.

Police would not say whether the man was shot. The officials also did not provide any information about the identity of the man found dead or a possible suspect.
