Teen stabbed on Main Street in Beacon

BEACON – City police are investigating the Sunday murder in which a teenager was stabbed on Beacon’s Main Street. The incident is believed to have occurred just before 4pm on September 29th.

Police, fire and emergency services responded to a South Brett Street address at 4:14 p.m. for a report of a 16-year-old juvenile with a stab wound to the leg.

Sources close to the incident told Mid-Hudson News that the teen was stabbed on Main Street and then traveled to a relative’s home. The relative reportedly called 911 to report the incident.

The victim was taken to Montefiore St. Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh for further treatment.
