Hurricane Helene leaves behind a lake filled with debris

Videos show extensive damage in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene, which devastated the state and caused catastrophic flooding.

In just one district, at least 30 people have died and many more are missing.

Charlotte City Councilman Tariq Bokhari shared footage of Lake Lure filled with debris, describing the scene as “post-apocalyptic.”
