Hadapsar: Sexual assault on two minor girls in separate incidents

Pune: Two shocking incidents of sexual assault on minor girls have come to light in Pune’s Hadapsar area, sparking outrage and concern.

In both cases, adult men preyed on young girls and exploited their vulnerability. Police have launched investigations into the incidents and lodged formal complaints under strict laws, including the Sexual Assault Regulations and the Atrocities Act.

The first case involves a 42-year-old man who allegedly entered the house of a 14-year-old girl in a government rehabilitation colony in Hadapsar. The man took advantage of the girl’s aloneness at home and sexually assaulted her.

This was not the first time the girl suffered such a crime, as it emerged that she had been sexually abused two years earlier. The emotional scars from the previous incident had not healed, making this second attack even more traumatic for the young victim.

The authorities have lodged an FIR against the accused and are providing necessary support to the victim.

In the second case, a 31-year-old man is said to have lured a 16-year-old girl with promises of marriage and later took her to a hotel in Loni Kalbhor, where he sexually abused her.

The victim also stated that the man threatened and physically attacked her. A relative of the defendant was also involved and helped force the girl into a sexual relationship.

The relative is accused of further abusing the victim by manipulating his family relationships. Both men have been charged and the case is currently being actively investigated by police.
