Milan: Criminal infiltration into Ultras fan clubs, arrests and searches underway – video

A large-scale operation by the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza has been underway since the early hours of the morning, coordinated by the Anti-Mafia District Directorate of the Milan Prosecutor’s Office. Agents of the central operational service of the Central Anti-Criminal Directorate of the State Police, the Flying Squad and the Sisco of Milan execute dozens of precautionary measures and search warrants against people under investigation in various capacities for criminal association, with the aggravating circumstance that the mafia method, extortion , assault and other serious crimes.

In the same context, further actions were carried out by the military of the Central Service for the Investigation of Organized Crime (Scico) and the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Milan Financial Police (Gico). The suspects are almost all linked to the Ultras fans of the two main Milan teams and the crimes related to business sales in the football context. The details of the operation will be announced during a press conference that will take place this morning at the premises of the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office in the presence of the national anti-mafia prosecutor Giovanni Melillo, the Milan prosecutor Marcello Viola and the Milan police chief Bruno Megale, the provincial commander of the Milan Financial Police, General B. Andrea Fiducia, the Director of the Central Operations Service Vincenzo Nicolì, the Commander of the Central Investigative Service CO Gen. D. Antonio Quintavalle and investigators from the State Police and the Financial Police.
