An investigation is underway after one person was killed in a tractor-trailer accident on Interstate 84 in the Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY, NEW YORK (September 29, 2024) – One person was killed and several injured in a truck accident in the Hudson Valley on Interstate 84.

Orange County officials say the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. A car was involved in a head-on collision with a semi-truck.

The collisions caused a massive inferno that engulfed the smaller vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to assist the victims.

Unfortunately, one person died from their injuries. A comprehensive investigation is currently underway.
