Sunday stabbing investigation in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – Police were investigating a crime scene in connection with a stabbing Sunday evening in Jonesboro.

According to JPD Public Information Specialist Sally Smith, a victim with stab wounds showed up at a local hospital around 8 p.m. A crime scene was located on Matthews Avenue near Gee Street. The police put up crime scene tape and started the investigation.

Two were brought in for questioning, Smith said.

No further details were announced on Sunday evening.
