Tragic blast at Stone Crusher kills one worker, injures two in Pune | Pune News

Pune: A 25-year-old daily wage laborer died and two others sustained injuries after a stone crushing site in Pune Maval carried out explosion on Saturday afternoon.
Talegaon MIDC police have registered a case against unknown persons involved in the blast.
The police have identified the deceased Ajit Kumar Bhuchkun Saw from Bihar. The injured were Ram Pravesh Ram Prasad and Rahul Ram Prasad. They were treated at a nearby private hospital.
An official of MIDC Talegaon police said the trio worked in a private company at Mangrul village in Maval taluka.
“At around 11:30 a.m. a controlled demolition took place at a neighboring stone crushing plant. After the explosion, stones fell on the workers. Sah died due to his severe head injuries,” the official said. Police have registered the case under Sections 106 (causing death by negligence), 288 (negligent conduct in handling explosive substances) and 125 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). .
