NYPD investigating quadruple stabbing in Crown Heights

Police have launched an investigation into a late-night stabbing attack at Ms. K’s Dance Academy in Crown Heights that left four men in their 30s injured during a private party.

According to the NYPD, the stabbings occurred shortly after midnight and all four men were taken to local hospitals. They are expected to recover.

Studio owner Kyaisha Max-Macarthy, known as “Coach K,” arrived to find the studio trashed, with food and decorations strewn across the floor. Max-Macarthy said she rents the space to cover costs but will no longer do so after the violence.

She is known in the community for her work with young people and coaches world champions in Double Dutch. Despite the incident, her priority remains preparing the studio for the upcoming classes.

“Service is something that is very, very important to me,” she said.

As of Sunday evening, it was not immediately clear what led to the stabbings.
