Man arrested on murder charges after woman found stabbed to death in Simi Valley

Officers said they found Jessica Tinoco with multiple stab wounds to her face, chest and stomach after responding to a call about a domestic violence incident in progress just after 6 p.m. Friday.

Police said the woman’s teenage daughter reported the incident at a local residence in the 800 block of California Avenue, which is west of First Street and north of Royal Avenue.

The woman was transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, where she died from her injuries within an hour, police Sgt. said Richard Morton on Sunday.
