Israel freshly brought to market Airstrikes In LebanonThe Bekaa region was targeted on Monday Hezbollah targets, the Israeli military said in a statement. According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the attacks targeted “dozens of launch pads and buildings where weapons were stored,” with the military vowing to further damage Hezbollah’s military infrastructure. This came just a day after more than 105 people were killed in widespread Israeli attacks across the country.
Footage shared by the IDF showed Israeli warplanes attacking Hezbollah targets after killing seven Hezbollah commanders, including the organization’s leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah. On Monday, witnesses reported Israeli airstrikes in central Beirut, marking the first such attacks on the capital in almost a year, AFP reported. The attacks hit a residential building and caused civilian casualties. Lebanese officials confirmed that 359 people were injured in the airstrikes and the death toll is expected to rise.
