Tragic pile-up on Wardha Road: One dead, two injured in collision between truck, container and car |

Nagpur: A person identified as Ramlal ChouhanHe was killed and at least two others injured in a freak accident Mass pile-up near T point Jamtha Wardha Road early on Sunday morning.
The police had to work for five hours to tow the damaged vehicles from the scene of the accident using heavy cranes.
A car heading towards Nagpur had slowed down near Jamtha T point to make a U-turn. Swapnil Hulke, who was behind the wheel of the car, miraculously escaped the feast along with friends who had accompanied him for some time.
The container whose driver died in the accident had also stopped behind the car to make a U-turn and head towards Wardha.
The slurry mixing truck came from behind at top speed and rammed into the cabin of the container. Since he could not cope with the force of the impact, the truck driver with the manure mixture also lost control of his vehicle and landed on the hood of the vehicle. The car occupants were lucky and were able to leave the destroyed vehicle unscathed.
The Hingna police and its traffic department managed to clear the accident site with the help of onlookers at the spot, who also took the injured to a nearby hospital where Chouhan, a native of Rajasthan, was declared dead.
An offense was registered at Hingna police station against the driver of a slurry mixer truck for his rash and negligent driving.
