Woman stabbed in Scarborough home: Toronto police

Police say a woman has died after a man allegedly stabbed her at a Scarborough residence Sunday afternoon.

The stabbing happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday in the area of ​​Ellesmere and Orton Park streets, Toronto police said on X, formerly Twitter. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and police said they would provide more details at a media conference on Sunday evening.
