Jayden Reed leads an air raid with a narrow defeat

Reed caught seven of eight targets for 139 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for two yards in the Packers’ 31-29 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Reed led the Packers in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon while ranking third in targets. Reed’s versatile skills were on display as usual, even though he only recorded one rush attempt, as his catches, yards and targets were all season highs. Reed also got into the end zone for the first time since his other 100-yard performance in Week 1, when he found the end zone from 15 yards out just before halftime for Green Bay’s first points. Reed also added 21 and 42 yards on consecutive plays in the Packers’ final drive, making it an outstanding overall performance. Next, the second-year wideout targets the Rams’ vulnerable secondary in a Week 5 game on the road.
