Pasadena accident: Two dead, another injured in multi-vehicle accident in Pasadena

Two people were killed in a five-vehicle crash in Pasadena. It happened at the intersection of Allen Genoa and Richey Road.

According to authorities, one of the vehicles caught fire and the person in that vehicle did not survive. Another passenger from another vehicle was also killed in the collision. One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries and several others were treated for less serious injuries.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash and the area will remain closed for several hours while the investigation continues.
