In South Carolina, 25 people have now died as a result of Hurricane Helene

SOUTH CAROLINA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety confirmed three more deaths Sunday after Hurricane Helene hit the Southeast, bringing the total to 25.

Below is a breakdown of the locations where the deaths occurred:

• Spartanburg – 6 dead
• Greenville – 5 dead
• Aiken – 4 dead
• Anderson – 4 dead
• Saluda – 3 dead
• Newberry – 2 dead
• Chesterfield – 1 dead

Deaths were confirmed by the SCDPS and each county’s coroner’s office.
