Man kidnapped, tied up and raped woman in Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man is charged with multiple first-degree felonies for allegedly kidnapping and raping a woman on Saturday, according to TPD officials.

According to TPD, Kevin G. Thompson II, 35, forced a woman into his car, handcuffed her and drove her to his home, where he raped her.

Investigators say there is video and physical evidence of the attack.

According to police, Thompson was arrested on first-degree felony charges of kidnapping for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity against the victim’s will and two counts of rape.

He was booked into the Lucas County Corrections Center and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
