Windsor police are charging two people after reports of sexual assault and detention

Two men have been arrested after a person was sexually assaulted and locked in an apartment in Windsor, Ont., earlier this week.

Downtown patrol officers in the Glengarry neighborhood were on patrol when they encountered a “distraught victim” around 10 a.m. Thursday, police said in a statement.

“Officers learned that the victim had just been sexually assaulted by two men, one of whom prevented her from leaving the apartment,” police said.

According to police, two men were found and arrested. A 24-year-old was charged with sexual assault and forcible detention, and a 45-year-old was charged with sexual assault.
