Vancouver police say they have arrested a man on charges of indecent exposure following two incidents on the Clark College campus last week.

Nolen P. Sanchez remained in jail Sunday in the Clark County Jail on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault.

The charges stem from reports from campus last week, police said. On Thursday, a 17-year-old student said a man followed her as she got off the bus, asking her questions and making comments “that made her uncomfortable and afraid,” police said.

Campus security found a man matching the woman’s description. According to police, the man was sitting in a public area on campus and appeared to be “masturbating.”

On the same day he is said to have slapped an employee on the butt.

On Friday, Vancouver police identified the suspect as Sanchez and arrested him the following day.

Earlier this year, a man was accused of stabbing a Clark College employee in a random attack. He was arrested half a mile from campus. The woman survived the attack.
