Over 100 shots were fired in the Foothills neighborhood of Albuquerque

The Super Rock neighborhood in the Albuquerque foothills has been rocked by the recent shooting in Albuquerque.

Last night around 11 p.m., neighbors heard shots from fully automatic and semi-automatic gunfire. Witnesses tell us the shots were not stationary and appeared to come from vehicles in the area.

Albuquerque police were dispatched to the area and it is not clear if any suspects or victims have been found. As a precautionary measure, APD told local hospitals to be alert for possible gunshot victims.

Neighborhood apps indicate that some residents’ homes were hit by gunfire during last night’s shooting.
