A man accused of shooting two people in east Houston is in custody, according to Houston police

East Houston – Houston police said a man is in custody accused of shooting two people at a home at Valley Club Drive and Brock Park Boulevard.

According to investigators, this started when a man dropped off his children at a home in East Houston, where they reportedly live. According to investigators, the man got into an argument with another man in the house. During the argument, police said the man inside the home reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the second man. The victim managed to escape to Tidwell and Mesa Road, where he flagged down officers. According to investigators, a woman in the house was also injured by the gunfire. Police said the man and woman were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries. Officials said there were children in the home but they were not injured.

Houston police said the suspect was arrested. It is not yet known what charges he will face.
