One person has died in a violent accident

West Houston — One person has died in a car accident along the Fondren and Westpark toll roads, according to Houston police.

According to investigators, the single-vehicle crash occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Houston police said the driver of the vehicle died at the scene and the passenger was taken to the hospital.

Officials said this is an ongoing investigation.
