Man arrested, stolen gun found in Pitcairn shooting

A man was arrested after a shooting in Pitcairn that hit two vehicles Saturday afternoon, Allegheny County police said.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Brinton Avenue for reports of two groups shooting at each other just before 2:50 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Police found a stolen gun at the scene and arrested a man, Jameel Anger, 20, from Pitcairn. He is charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license.

The criminal police are investigating. Information about the shooting can be directed to the county police tip line, 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
