Musheer Khan thanks BCCI and fans in emotional video after road accident

Mumbai cricketer Musheer Khan thanked the BCCI, Mumbai Cricket Association and fans for their support after the road accident. The video was shared by Sarfaraz Khan on his Instagram story when Musheer and father Naushad, who were involved in the accident, spoke about it. Musheer wore a neck brace as he and his father thanked the Almighty for giving them a new life. According to reports, Musheer Khan is in a stable condition following a road accident on the outskirts of Lucknow on Saturday, September 28.

Indian cricketer Sarafaraz Khan’s younger brother Musheer was on his way to Lucknow with his father Naushad for the upcoming Irani Cup match when their car collided with a divider on the Purvanchal Expressway and overturned. Musheer suffered a broken neck while his father suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Medanta Hospital where they are currently staying Receive care under supervision by Dr. Dharmendra Singh.

Musheer-Naushad reacts after the accident

“Good evening. First of all, I would like to thank the Almighty for the new life. Also to those who prayed for us. Our well-wishers and fans. Our relatives. We thank everyone. We would also like to express our gratitude to MCA and BCCI,” who are taking care of Musheer. And whatever the future, I just say: whatever we have, we have to do it gratefully. Such is life,” Naushad said in the video posted by Sarfaraz Khan on his story.

“I would like to thank the Almighty for the new life. I’m fine at the moment. My father was with me, he’s fine too. Thank you for your prayers,” Musheer said.

The Mumbai Cricket Association said the MCA medical team is monitoring his progress. The statement also mentioned that the 19-year-old will be flown to Mumbai for further examination once he is fit to travel.

Musheer’s injury will put him out of action for at least three months, which resulted in him missing the upcoming Irani Cup, which begins on October 1. He had started his domestic season impressively, scoring a century for India B in the Duleep Trophy and was instrumental in Mumbai’s win in the Ranji Trophy earlier this year.
