Hong Kong man, 20, arrested for allegedly indecently assaulting eight girls in a single morning

A 20-year-old man has been taken into custody for allegedly assaulting at least eight girls wearing school uniforms in the same Hong Kong district.

Authorities received separate reports from two high school students, ages 14 and 16, who said a man hugged them from behind and touched their breasts before at Kweilin Street and Fuk Wah Street in Sham Shui Po on Thursday morning he ran away.

Inspector Leung Kin-pui of the Sham Shui Po District Criminal Investigation Department said on Sunday that the man allegedly inappropriately assaulted at least six other girls in uniform that same morning.

The suspect’s actions were captured in footage from surveillance cameras recently installed by the government.

The man was located and arrested at an apartment on Fuk Wah Street, with officers confiscating the clothing he was wearing at the time of the alleged indecent assault.
