Partygoers at a bush rave are attacked and robbed in the forest by a gang of thugs

A group of men are on the run from police after attacking and robbing partygoers at a rave in the bush.

The intruders, dressed all in black and driving a silver van, stormed the event near Sutton Road in Kowen Forest, about 30km east of Canberra, at around 2.45am on Sunday.

The men, who appeared to be Pacific Islanders, demanded “cash and valuables” from partygoers.

They then fled the scene in the same van before police arrived at the scene.

ACT Police identified “multiple robbery and assault victims”, including two partygoers who were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone who saw a silver van in the area at the time of the incident or has other information is urged to contact police.
