Man, sister-in-law killed in bike accident in Kochi, Road Death, Kerala, Kochi, Road Accident, Latest News, Thevara

The deceased are Sufiyan and his sister-in-law Meenakshi, both from Kasaragod. The accident occurred around 12:30 pm when they were approaching Thevara Junction in Kochi. The duo was out to buy supplies for the naming ceremony of Sufiyan’s newborn.

The impact was so severe that the bike became trapped between the posts and the sidewalk. Both Sufiyan and Meenakshi died on the spot due to their severe head injuries. At the time, nearby shops were closed and it was the loud noise of the accident that alerted people nearby, who then informed the police.

Sufiyan’s wife Malavika’s family lives in Kasturba Nagar in Thevara. He traveled from Kasaragod to Kochi to attend the naming ceremony of his child.

Sufiyan and Meenakshi had gone to a shop to buy items for the celebration when the tragic accident occurred.
