Vandalia boy seriously injured in motorcycle accident in Monroe County – KXEO

A Vandalia boy suffered serious injuries following a motorcycle accident in Monroe County in the early hours of Saturday, September 28, 2024.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report, the accident occurred on Highway 154, 1.5 miles east of Paris.

A 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C5OT, driven by 35-year-old Gavin D. Frost of Vandalia, left the right side of the road and overturned.

Frost and his nine-year-old passenger were ejected.

Frost was uninjured in the accident.

The nine-year-old boy was taken to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatment.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Paris Fire Department and Monroe County Ambulance responded to the accident.
