Atmore police are investigating the shooting and say one was seriously injured

ATMORE, Ala. (WALA) – Atmore Police say they are investigating a shooting.

Police said they responded to Atmore Community Hospital around 11:55 p.m. Saturday evening in reference to a gunshot victim being transported in a private vehicle.

They say the victim was in serious condition and was flown by helicopter to a trauma center.

According to police, investigators are working to identify the suspect.
