Cleveland Browns at Las Vegas Raiders odds, expert tips on how to watch: Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby are out for the Raiders

The odds for the Cleveland Browns vs. Las Vegas Raiders game on Sunday afternoon are slim. It’s close to a draw as the Raiders were considered slight favorites at the start of the week before injuries came to light. Either way, one of these teams will finish 2-2 while the other will go into a road game in Week 5.

“Embarrassing” is the right word to describe the Raiders’ Week 3 loss to the Panthers and new starting quarterback Andy Dalton. The Raiders saw a 36-point increase on their own scoreboard last week. The defense may have a chance to rebound as it faces Cleveland’s weak offense (31st in yards, with just 50 points in three games). Nevertheless, Las Vegas will be missing two starters in safety Marcus Epps and edge rusher Malcolm Koonce. Both are out for the season due to knee injuries.

No QB has been hit more than Cleveland’s maligned Deshaun Watson. He’s been sacked 16 times, but that may be the least of his worries. Last week, during a 21-15 loss to the Giants, Watson was seen on the sidelines with a towel over his head and far away from his offensive coordinator after a faltering offensive series. If Watson has lost the trust of his coaches, this season could get even uglier. Watson has never thrown for 200 yards in a game, with four total touchdowns and two interceptions.

Add this to the “Panic Now” category, Browns fans: All-Pro guard Wyatt Teller will be out for several weeks, meaning protection for Watson just got worse.

The Raiders have their own injury issues as wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) and pass rusher Maxx Crosby (ankle) are both out.
